Citrine began when Melanie and Justin — who'd worked together for years — joined forces to build something they felt was missing: a boutique firm that actually cares.
Not "care" as a line on a website. The real kind. The kind that does the hard yards on your behalf, digs into the detail others skim over, and stays firmly in your corner whether it's tax time or the middle of a quiet Tuesday. They'd both seen how easily people get lost with the wrong accountant — buried in jargon, chasing someone who only appears once a year, never quite sure they're in good hands. They wanted to be the opposite of that.
Being boutique is the point, not a limitation. It means you're not a file number. It means the people who know your name are the same people doing your work. And it means genuine, tailored advice — not a template.

Melanie Pisani
Managing DirectorMelanie leads Citrine with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Deakin and years spent deep in tax and business advisory. She's the one you want on the complex stuff — high-net-worth individuals, intricate investment structures, and everything from companies and trusts to SMSFs. If it has moving parts, Melanie enjoys it.
What really drives her, though, is the people. She loves working shoulder-to-shoulder with clients on both their personal and business goals, and she brings genuine warmth and authenticity to every conversation (plus a competitive streak that comes out the moment anyone suggests a game). Away from the numbers, she's a proud mum and wife, a sucker for a classic muscle car, and fiercely proud of her Maltese heritage.
DirectorJustin Bramble
Justin is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT and 10+ years in the industry. He's the details person — the one who drills into the fine print of any structure, whether you're an entrepreneur just finding your feet or a CEO at the big end of town. No structure's too complex, no detail too small.
But it's never just about the numbers for Justin. He works with clients to reach whatever matters most to them — growing their wealth, freeing up time for the life they actually want, or building something with lasting value and legacy. Outside the office, he's a proud husband and devoted dad, most often found on the basketball court or chasing an adventure somewhere in the great outdoors.
Michelle Davidson
Michelle is a Chartered Accountant with six years in business advisory — expertise and energy in equal measure. Known for her warm, positive nature (and a few unexpected talents), she brings a friendly face to the team and a serious competitive streak to the soccer field.
